Please Meet Breck. Breck goes to college full time and will graduate with a double major in Communications and Human Services. This summer Breck wanted to try some new and exciting. So she told her family she wanted to ride a horse. Breck came to us about 4 weeks ago and now is a completely independent rider. Breck smiles as she glides around the arena on Jetta. What you may not realize is that Breck is blind..Being blind has not stopped Breck at all in her life and what she wants to accomplish. Breck and the instructor communicate while she is on the horse by using walkie talkies, one is attached to her helmet. With the walkie talkies Breck is completely independent on a horse. Last night, Breck trotted and loped by herself on Jetta and the smile on her face was priceless. Thank you Breck for coming to the equine center and teaching us about you. We are excited to see you ride each week and watch you smile!!!
